Computer Modeling Class

Week 1

Week 1, we were taught the basics of Adobe Photoshop and were taught how to edge out images and how to use free transform on images. We were also taught how to add motion blur on objects. We had to edit the picture on the left to look like the picture he showed us. We had to add people that were blurred, shift the display around and change the perspective of the photo. The photo on the right is the result.

After that, he taught us how to use the clone tool and stamp tool. From there we had to edit the photos on the left to look like the photos on the right. These are the results

Week 1

Week 2

In this lesson, we were first tasked with creating icons using Illustrators. We had to create 3 that represented the school and another 3 that represent our own studio project. These are my attempts at it.

Afterwards, we had to create 3 patterns based on things in nature. The patterns we create should be somewhat related to our own project. These are my attempts:

Week 4

In this lesson, we switched back to learning Rhino and were taught the function of blend and cage to help create more freeform and organic forms. Using this tool we had to recreate the pringle shape form in rhino. Below is my attempt at it.

After that we were given our project for this term, we had to find an object at school and CAD it out using Rhino, create an orthographic drawing of the different part, as well as photoshopping that CAD model onto the actual scene.

Week 5-7

I decide to choose a wood glue bottle as my item to CAD out for this project. The item chosen is to the side. Overall I think it wasn't such a tough project to do. From last term I was able to grasp how to use the software. I think the hardest thing for me was trying to make it as realistic as possible in the rendering and match the actual object. I think I overall did succeed in some aspect but I did change some of the details to make it easier to render out and look neater

Week 9

For this week lesson, we were given a quick lesson on how to use Adobe Premiere Rush. In order to get us familiarise with the program, we had to experiment with creating a video of our own. I decided to refine a portion of my previous video that I submitted for Semester 2 for studio.

Week 10

This week, we were left to our own devices to create a video explaining our product so I expanded on my last week's video
